Kristine Demirjian started her accounting career in 2008. Her college professor recruited Kristine
for an internship at her family tax practice and the rest is history. During her internship, Kristine
fell in love with many aspects of the technical tax work, but most importantly client service. The
excellent client service skills modeled at James J. Matousek CPAs helped shape her career
further.
Kristine continued her accounting career in a small boutique CPA firm – Roschke & Wall,
Business Advisors and CPAs. She continued expanding her skills in individual and corporate tax
return preparation, monthly accounting services as well as financial statement audits. Under the
mentorship of her peers at the firm, Kristine passed the CPA exam and quickly grew from a
junior accountant to senior.
After six years with Roschke and Wall, Kristine wanted to expand her career in a more
managerial role. She accepted a senior accountant position at Gorelick and Uslaner CPAs. While
with the firm, Kristine gained valuable experience in multi-state, complex partnership, corporate
and trust tax research and preparation. She was responsible for managing financial statement
audits for a variety of clients in the real estate, manufacturing and service industries. Kristine
also assisted the partners in preparation for firm’s peer review, by conducting internal reviews
and making sure the quality of firm’s work corresponded to the standards and best practices.
Kristine is a member in good standing of the California Society of CPAs (Cal CPA), the
American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPSA) and the Armenian Institute of
CPAs.
In her free time Kristine enjoys traveling, reading, hiking, documentaries, cooking and hosting
family and friends. She is the proud mom to a baby and a toddler who keep her hands full.
